The SPSLink Trek user manual (version 1.1) is the full reference for the Trek handheld, model P0. It covers the keys and 2.4 inch color display, powering the radio on, group and private push to talk calls, joining a Wi-Fi network, the SOS key, USB-C charging and care of an IP67 radio.
Download the PDF from the attachment at the bottom of this article. It is a 6 page document and prints on US Letter.
What is in the manual
- Radio overview: Menu, Up/Group, Down/Member and Exit/Power keys under the display; PTT, Vol+/SOS and Vol- on the left side; USB-C on the right
- Getting started: power on, SIM and first connection
- Calling: group calls, private calls and the priority speaker
- Wi-Fi: joining a network, including a Starlink Mini, and automatic reconnection
- SOS: sending an alert to your account's dispatcher
- Charging, low battery reminder and care around water
Before you start
The Trek ships with its SPSLink SIM installed. There is nothing to activate: service starts the first time you turn the radio on and runs for one year from that date. GPS tracking and SOS are account services, so they need to be active on your SPSLink account to work. See Using the SOS key in Radios & settings.
The Trek uses a different accessory connector from the Go. If you are buying a headset or speaker microphone, choose the Trek version; see Which accessories fit the Go, Trek and Commander?
